I made it!! ¡Hola Madrid!

Got through customs easily - nothing to declare but the bag on my back. Went to get a taxi and he understood where I needed to go. He loaded up the trunk and hopped in the drivers seat. Meanwhile,  I kept trying to open the locked passenger door. I couldn't figure out the word for "unlock" and he proceeded to start driving off!!! Luckily he realized I wasn't with him and stopped. He explained that I was his first passenger of the day and he forgot to unlock the whole car:) I laughed and told him "Welcome to España!" Hahahahha. 

I'm now enjoying cerveza while I wait to officially be let into my hostel. Luckily, I learn the word for beer wherever I go🍺 Already enjoying vacaciones!

Also, I did not expect 45deg weather. Yikes!!!!
